The service was stressed, apparently due to overbooking and crowded dining areas, giving a feel of being served in Cracker Barrel on Sunday afternoon. There was not a single shrimp dish or platter on the menu for adults. The grouper was dry and overdone, and the seafood stew was overly salty beyond tolerance for several of us. ? As for the food, much seemed to have been prepared by cooks, and not chefs. Cobalt's online menu was intriguing, but upon arrival we learned that they had a scaled-down version only known to those in person (the waiter told us they had posted it on their website, but we already knew that was not true.) Supposedly the management floated the notion they had "notified" all their clientele via Instagram. Our waiter was impatient and somewhat condescending, even after he realized that we could tell that he was untrained on the specifics and details of the entrees. Even with reservations, we had to wait on a table. We had made reservations, only to realize upon arrival that the floors were jammed with tables and people, beyond what the wait staff could manage. I expected an upscale dining atmosphere and professional wait staff.
